What is Lumecca IPL treatment?

IPL treatment is a skin rejuvenation procedure that uses pulsing bursts of light to break apart pigment in the skin, specifically in layers below the epidermis at the top. This means it doesn’t cause any heat damage to the uppermost layer while treating skin concerns that originate under the surface.

Once the treatment starts, you feel a snapping sensation against your skin with each bright flash. It might sting a little, but IPL treatment is not painful. Depending on the size of the treatment area or the number of treatment areas, if you’re targeting a few, your appointment takes 20-30 minutes.
