BEFORE

Your QuantumRF treatment begins with a consultation with one of our experts. During this consultation, the expert will:

• Assess your general health
• Discuss your goals

Here are some guidelines to follow ahead of the procedure:

• Avoid tanning 3-4 weeks before treatment and use SPF 30 or higher sunblock if you spend time outdoors.
• Avoid topical irritant agents for 2-3 days before treatment.

Avoid anticoagulants for 7-10 days before treatment if medically permitted by your physician

DURING

Duration: 60 minutes

Pain Management: Local anesthesia, Pro-Nox

Step-by-Step Guide:

• You will be numbed with local anesthesia to reduce discomfort. Complimentary Pro-nox is also available to keep you comfortable.
• A tiny incision is made for the cannula to insert beneath the skin.
• The expert moves the cannula to the desired depth and the RF energy is released.
• The cannula will be moved across the treatment area, with the entire treatment lasting about 1 hour.
• Once completed, the expert will close the small incision with a surgical bandage and provide a compression garment to wear while healing.

AFTER

There is minimal downtime after your QuantumRF treatment. Most patients can return to their normal activities within 3-5 days.

You may experience mild redness, swelling, warmth, or tenderness in the treatment area, which typically subsides within a few hours to a couple of days. 

For optimal healing, you will be given a compression garment to wear over the next few weeks.

To ensure best results:

• Avoid excessive heat exposure such as saunas, hot tubs, intense workouts, or hot showers for at least 72 hours.
• Use gentle cleansers, fragrance‑free moisturizers, and skip active skincare like retinoids or exfoliants for up to a week.
• A light healing ointment may be provided immediately post‑treatment; moisturizing and hydration remain key throughout recovery.
• Begin wearing SPF 30+ (preferably zinc oxide–based) 24–48 hours later and continue daily sun protection for at least two weeks to support results and prevent irritation.
