Here are some guidelines to follow ahead of the procedure: 

• Make sure you have an up-to-date normal PAP screen within the last 12 months.
• Shave the hair around the treatment area 2-4 days before the procedure; avoid waxing or using chemical hair removers.
• Stay hydrated, but limit caffeine and alcohol for at least 2 days before treatment.

DURING

Duration: 20-30 minutes

Step-by-Step Guide:

• The length of the vaginal canal is measured.
• The wand is lubricated with gel and gently inserted into the vagina.
• The wand is gently rotated internally to evenly disperse heat across the vaginal tissue.

AFTER

There is no downtime after your FormaV treatment. Most patients are can return to their normal activities immediately after treatment.

You may experience some soreness, redness, and discomfort in the treated area, which usually subsides within a few days.

To ensure the best results: 

• Avoid intercourse for at least 3 days.
• Wear a panty liner if there is any discharge.
• Refrain from swimming or taking hot baths for at least 48 hours post-procedure.
• Avoid heavy exercise for at least 1 week.
